THE Bike's STORY
_

1980 Ducati 900 Super Sport bought from the original owner and spruced up at Moto Borgotaro inc.

The previous owner had many bikes of which he made sure to not only run correctly but also ride correctly.

The 900 SS here is no exception, the former owner did not want any issues so he had the motor redone at some point in the 90's to make sure he never had any issues with running or riding. He also had the front fairing mount reinforced as they can be prone to breaking.

As the new owner of this machine you will find in the box of goodies that comes with the bike; the original piston rings, extra valve half rings, spare cables, original petcocks, original manual, original tool pouch, original bevel cover (gear gazer currently installed) -

Overall this is a great rider with restored paint and redone motor, and terrific suspension... Not a show pony, bike starts runs and rides sweetly. She is ready to go.

DISCLAIMER

Every single bike I buy and sell, I personally go through—not someone else. I am the owner operator of my small business, and I take what I do very seriously.  I work on the bikes, I ride the bikes.

If you are serious about buying a true collector piece from someone who not only has a passion for these bikes, but works on them, rides them, and collects them then call me. Jokingly people say to me, “these bikes don’t seem so rare as there are so many in your shop” well... I consider myself a custodian for these machines, they should go to people who will love, and appreciate them.
